We are a Community Interest Company (CIC) situated in Barley Mow Park.
We started in 2004 supporting people with their health and wellbeing and we have used this experience to develop a programme of activities to reduce social isolation and improve the health and wellbeing of our community. We provide person centred exercise programmes to help improve mobility and reduce dependence on carers. We have enjoyed great success with our “Seat to Feet” and “Maintanence Moves”.
We teach specific Falls Prevention, balance, strength and coordination.
We have renovated the old Bowling Pavillion in Barley Mow Park to create a Social Retreat where people can come and enjoy participating in the numerous activities we have to offer in a friendly, hidden gem.
The programme of activities begin at 10.00am and run throughout the day until 4.00pm. These are delivered to small groups of upto 10 people to unsure everyone feels they can be heard and receive the support they need to participate.
